Every dream has a beginning, and Four Paws Bed & Biscuit began with a simple idea: What if boarding your dog could feel less like leaving them at a kennel and more like sending them on a little vacation?

We're Brock and Kim Bowman, a husband-and-wife team from Western Kentucky, and we wanted to create something different. Something personal. Something built around the belief that every dog deserves a comfortable space of their own, filled with a little character and a whole lot of heart.

But we didn't just dream up Four Paws. We built it ourselves, with our own hands.

From the first sketches and plans to the construction of the suites, the handcrafted beds, and the smallest decorative details, Four Paws is the result of countless hours of working side by side, turning our ideas into reality.

We didn't order a collection of prefabricated kennels or hire someone to create a fancy dog hotel. Instead, we imagined ten completely different little destinations and set about building them, piece by piece.

A royal retreat with a handcrafted four-poster bed. A lakeside getaway with its own hammock. A country adventure complete with a little red wagon. A farmhouse porch with a swinging bed. Even a 1950s-inspired surf shop.

Each suite has its own personality, and nearly everywhere you look, you'll find something we dreamed up, designed, built, painted, or created ourselves. Some details are playful, others are elegant, and a few might make you smile. But every one of them is part of what makes Four Paws special.

And while we're proud of what we've built, the rooms themselves are only part of the story.

We know dogs aren't simply pets. They're members of the family. Whether you're leaving town for a weekend, heading off on vacation, or just need someone to care for your best friend during the day, you're trusting someone with a companion who means the world to you.

That's a responsibility we take seriously.

As a small, family-owned business, we want to offer something that feels different from a traditional boarding experience. Comfortable private suites, individual attention, time to play, and a welcoming atmosphere where every guest matters.

We're not a franchise, a chain, or a corporate dog hotel. We're a husband and wife who took an idea, rolled up our sleeves, and built something we believe in.
